Wayfare & Wilding

Wayfare & Wilding is a gentle observation of the ancient trails that thread through the countryside. It is inspired by the rhythm of a long walk, the chalky drift of a sunbaked path underfoot, the sudden flutter of a bird in the hedge, and the way wildflowers blur the edges of a track.

The collection begins with the hazy tones of ‘Softened,’ capturing the stillness of wheat fields in the midday heat, before meeting the cool, blue-grey flint and weathered stone of a ‘Grounded’ path. As the light dips, ‘Nocturne’ emerges in a wash of indigo and sage, following the silent tracks of nocturnal wayfarers through the silvered landscape. Finally, the work settles into the rich rusts and olive greens of ‘Gathered,’ reflecting the seasonal turn and the beauty of things well-worn. These designs are a celebration of our countryside heritage and a quiet sense of belonging.
